Please be aware that my artwork is specifically crafted for permanent installation, either by being bolted to a deck or cemented into the ground. I often receive requests for making them movable, but this is not advisable. If you’re considering relocating, remember that the stability of these pieces is paramount. Their design is not just about being heavy; they are created to interact with the wind. As such, they require a firm, permanent anchoring to prevent any potential toppling, which could lead to damage and inconvenience. I strongly advise against attempting temporary installations, even for short periods. The integrity and safety of the artwork are best maintained when it is securely installed as intended.
If you’re relocating and require a new foundation for your sculpture, it’s crucial to reach out to me via email for a replacement kit or additional moving instructions. Further details on relocation can be found in the following section.
When ordering a kit, please provide:
- The name under which your sculpture was originally purchased.
- A preferred shipping address.
- The specific sculpture you own, ideally accompanied by a photograph.
- A photo or description of the bottom of the pole, particularly if there are bolts. If so, please measure the distance between them. Common widths include 5 1/8 inches, 9 inches, and 14 inches.
With this information, I’ll be able to issue an invoice for the new kit. Please avoid texting these details, as I rely on an assistant for processing orders, and they don’t have access to my text messages. This can lead to delays in assistance. My email is provided at the bottom of this page. Feel free to call me for any queries, but remember to email crucial information.
